In the process of building The Money Trail, we've discovered that quite a few state departments, municipalities and school districts aren't all that interested in your right to review public records, a right secured under the Access to Public Records Act, R.I. Gen. Laws § 38-2-2.

Choose your town or school district, then use the form that appears below to demand that your town or school district comply with the law and provide The Money Trail with the public records it has requested.
